Prevention and Prohibition of Ragging
As per the regulations notified by the **All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE)** (vide No 37-3/Legal/AICTE/2009 Dated 01.07.2009) and complying with the directives of the **Hon'ble Supreme Court of India**, AIET maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy against any form of ragging on or off campus.
Statutory Directives & Enforcement
The Institute Level Anti-Ragging Committee and Squad oversee the execution of these statutory safety provisions. Both bodies work in active coordination, conducting surprise checks in hostel corridors, common rooms, dining halls, and academic blocks to ensure a safe, welcoming environment for freshers.
The committee meets regularly to recommend preventive interventions, conduct sensitization lectures, and monitor student welfare activities. Any student subjected to harassment is advised to immediately report the event to any committee member or drop an anonymous message in the institutional suggestion boxes.
