Swayam-NPTEL MOOCs
AIET has an active Local Chapter in the Swayam-NPTEL MOOCs courses program, promoting and assisting students and faculties to take up various online certification courses from premier IITs. The following steps and supports have been established:
- SPOC Profile Integration: The SPOC/College profile is fully updated in the SPOC login portal for seamless monitoring.
- Offline NPTEL Content: We have acquired full copies of NPTEL video lectures and course materials in a 12TB Harddisk from IIT Kharagpur, making them accessible to all students for free in the Digital Library.
- Enrollment Assistance: Active support is provided to help students and faculties register and enroll in the appropriate courses.
- Faculty Mentorship: Qualified mentors are identified from our faculty members to guide students through the online course curriculum.
- Assignment Monitoring: Mentors track progress and ensure that candidates submit their weekly assignments on time.
- Exam Registration & Fees: Administrative assistance is given to candidates during final exam registration to ensure that fees are processed correctly.
- Hall Tickets: T&P / NPTEL Cell helps download and distribute the official Hall Tickets for the exams.
- Awards & Recognition: Awards are presented annually to students and staff members who pass the highest number of courses.
