Rules & Regulations of Central Library
- Opening Hours: The library is open from 9.30 A.M. to 10.00 P.M. including Sundays and other public holidays.
- Circulation Desk: Transaction hours are from 9.30 A.M. to 7.30 P.M. (Except Sundays & holidays).
- Resource Protection: Users must not deface, mark, cut, mutilate, or damage library resources. If found doing so, a fine of double the book's cost will be charged.
- Book Borrowing: Users can borrow up to three books at a time for fifteen days. Delay in return will attract a fine of ₹1 per day for the first week, and ₹5 per day thereafter.
- Borrowing Policy: Books borrowed on a particular day cannot be returned on the same day; they must be kept for at least one week.
- Overdue Alerts: Outstanding dues information will be shared via notices, email, or telephone.
- Koha OPAC System: Users can check check-in/check-out statuses via OPAC using Koha Library management software.
- Complaints: Queries and complaints can be emailed directly to library@aryan.ac.in.
- Code of Conduct: Smoking, chewing tobacco, using mobile phones, or bringing food/drinks inside the library is strictly prohibited.
- User Timings: Day scholars can use the library as per the academic timetable. Hostellers can access the library from 6:30 A.M. to 7:30 P.M. in addition to standard academic hours.
