The Department of Mining Engineering offers a three-year Diploma in Mining Engineering, preparing students to work safely and efficiently in the exploration and extraction of mineral resources. The curriculum covers subjects like mine surveying, geology, rock mechanics, mine safety, and mineral processing.
The department’s mission is to develop technically sound and safety-conscious diploma engineers ready to serve the mining industry and allied sectors.
With experienced faculty and access to field training, mine simulation models, and specialized lab facilities, students gain practical insights into modern mining techniques and environmental sustainability practices.

ARYAN INSTITUTE OF ENGINEERING & TECHNOLOGY (AIET), a major constituent technical institute of Aryan Educational Trust, Bhubaneswar was established in the year 2017.
AIET is affiliated to SCTE & VT, Odisha and approved by AICTE, New Delhi. The Institute has a lush green campus spread over 5 acres of land.
