The Department of Mechanical Engineering is committed to producing competent diploma engineers who are proficient in the principles of mechanics, thermodynamics, manufacturing, and machine design. The three-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering program builds a strong foundation in core mechanical systems and emerging areas like CAD/CAM and industrial automation.
Our goal is to prepare students for technical careers in manufacturing, automotive, energy, and maintenance sectors through a skill-based and practical approach to learning.
The department is staffed by experienced faculty and workshop instructors with strong industrial backgrounds. Students benefit from well-maintained labs such as thermal, fluid mechanics, machine shop, and strength of materials, supporting project-based and experiential learning.

ARYAN INSTITUTE OF ENGINEERING & TECHNOLOGY (AIET), a major constituent technical institute of Aryan Educational Trust, Bhubaneswar was established in the year 2017.
AIET is affiliated to SCTE & VT, Odisha and approved by AICTE, New Delhi. The Institute has a lush green campus spread over 5 acres of land. It is situated in the outskirts of the State Capital and India’s prominent Smart City of Bhubaneswar along the Jatani Road at Barakuda in Sundarapada area. The campus is well connected with the major Rail, Road and Air communication networks of the State.
